Representative Payee Program
The Wayne Township Social Security Representative Payee Program is a free program that ensures that the basic needs of a social security beneficiary are met. This includes: food, shelter, utilities, medical and dental care, and other items needed for the beneficiary's personal comfort. This office may also pay life insurance, budgeted amounts to pay off existing debt and medical bills, house and car insurance, burial trusts, and court related expenses. After basic needs are met, (and savings contribution is made) the individual receives a weekly spending allotment for food, personal items and miscellaneous spending. 100% of the clients funds are distributed to him or her - the trustee's office charges them no fees. Our mission is to provide the best possible services to all those we serve. We are proud to provide this service.
